Despite progress in higher education availability, students from less wealthy families still have challenges in education and employment areas. In this essay, I will explore the reasons for this inequality and suggest effective ways to improve balance between wealthy and not wealthy background students.
One possible solution to the inequality problem is giving more scholarships and performance bonuses for students with financially disadvantaged backgrounds. In many cases, these students are having obstacles because of their financial disposition, whereas others do not face such difficulties.People from low-income families cannot afford studying in the best schools or working in the best companies;it is difficult and expensive at the same time, which is not suitable for them. In my opinion, if such measures are taken, those students may have better motivation and more perspectives in work and studying, because financial issues could be solved.
Another approach to reduce inequality is enhancing accessibility and quality of public schools. Many children from disadvantaged families do not have access to primary and middle education, because of expensive education costs. Due to this problem some of these children in future do not have education, therefore, forced to work in low-income jobs.
Government should prioritise this question;they should improve the quality and availability of free educational centers. In my point of view, with the same as wealthy children’s education since primary school, people from unpreviliged backgrounds will have equal opportunity in career and higher education. Consequently, inequality between two social groups may be reduced.
In conclusion, although higher education has become more available, students form less wealthy families still facing obstacles in career and education perspectives. By providing more financial aid, more scholarships and improving public education, the inequality problem between rich and poor students may be solved. With equal education, all students could have the same opportunities in the future.
