I firmly believe that the government should implement a more lenient immigration policy for the betterment of both immigrants and the country. Furthermore, such a policy would contribute to the gradual growth of the country’s economy by attracting more individuals.
To begin with, the global economy has suffered a significant downturn and witnessed numerous casualties due to the impact of the pandemic over the past four years. Nevertheless, recent developments in the tourism sector and various immigration policies indicate a resurgence in economic activity.
An easier immigration process would facilitate the settlement of individuals such as refugees, enabling them to find refuge in other countries. Additionally, students aspiring to pursue education abroad would have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge by enrolling in their preferred courses. Consequently, our country would attract a larger population, effectively utilizing our extensive land. Furthermore, such a policy would promote cultural exchange and mutual learning, benefiting all parties involved.
In light of these considerations, it is imperative to chart a new course. The implementation of a more inclusive immigration policy would address several pressing issues and contribute to the peace that is eagerly awaited following the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Once again, I emphasize that these views are personal, and I am prepared to endorse any decision made in this regard.
