We live in an age when art is considered less significant than science. I totally disagree with this idea, as art provides benefits such as creativity and critical thinking for kids and teenagers, including peace and stress-relief methods for adults and aged people.
it is already apparent that parents prefer their kids getting involved with scientific subject like maths, chemistry and physics, because they often believe that this way is more beneficial. However, it worth noting that art includes potential work with colors, shapes and different ideas, which means that kids evolves creativity and idea generative skills. China’s kindergardens can be a great example of how effectiveness of study is increased through art activities like drawing, dancing or singing. Since early ages, teachers in kindergardens add drawing classes to children’s daily routine and schools support the same politics of chareography curriculums. As a result, China is on of the most innovative countries around the world and in international math championships, students from china have won grand-pri triple times between 2019 and 2022.
Nevertheless, not only kids, but also adults benefit from art, even if they are not obligated to follow by routines which includes art. Tis is exemplified by the famous approach called “art therapy” kit, which is available in every supermarkets around the world. The key feature of this kit is special package for cellphones that is locked for 15 minutes and person should draw to paper inside the kit. This approach aids adult people to forget the workload or problems for short time and reduces stress. The following art kit is widespread in Asian counties like Japan, South Korea and China, where scientific breakthroughs are developing extremely fast.
In conclusion, it is essential to maintain balance between science and art, as former one is key to success while latter one is significant for supporting good mental health.
