Nowadays tourism is growing very fast and many people like to visit other countrys for see culture and history. But unfortunatly this also make big problem for old and historical places. Many old buildings and monuments are getting damaged because to much tourist come every day and they dont care about rules. Sometime people touch the wall or write they name, or even take small stone as memory. This things look small but with time it destroy the site completly.
Also goverment in some places only think about money from tourists, so they dont protect the historical area good. They build hotels and restaurant very near to old places, wich make the enviroment bad and ugly. Some of the buildings even start to break because of vibration from cars and big buses.
To stop this problem, goverments should make more strict rules. They can limit how many tourist can enter in one day and also put more security people for watching. Tourist should learn to respect the culture and understand that these places are not just for picture but also for history and future generations. Also school should teach childrens about protecting heritage so when they grow up they will act more responsible.
If we dont do something soon, maybe after few years many famous historical places will be destroy forever and next generation will only see it in picture or internet. Tourism is good for economy, but we must keep balance between earning money and protecting our history.
