With the increasing globalization, cities around the globe are growing and addressing different problems. Younger people may remain unemployed and develop various health problems at an early age. Such issues and their solutions are discussed in this essay.
One of the significant problems is unemployment. Because of the increasing population, most jobs are occupied, and the younger age group remains jobless. To illustrate this, a study conducted in a hospital has shown that the new nurses were not recruited, since the positions were filled with the old ones. Thus, youngster should start their own business rather than looking for jobs; Moreover, the government should provide funding to the unemployed for this.
Another important problem is the development of poor health due to stress. As the number of people increases, the demand rises, which consequently increases the prices of products. As a result, teenagers have to work for longer hours to earn a high amount of money to fulfill their basic needs. For example, the price of vegetables in Nepal has been elevated by 60% over 9 years, along with its increase in population by 30%. This creates a lot of stress affecting their mental health. Therefore, the government should develop policies to reduce the prices of essential products for the general public.
In conclusion, the growing population raises concerns over job rates and health. So, to tackle such problems, individuals should work on their initiatives as well as authorities should look over the prices of basic things and provide them funding.
