Some people claim that owing to the significance of human’s lives, it might be a necessity for scientists to use animals as victims to do experiments of new chemical products. This measure is taken to reduce the risk of any harms of these productions to provide safety for humans. However, I have to disagree almost entirely with this point of view.
Indeed, this action is totally against the animal rights, as their lives are as valuable as other creations such as humans. People must consider that they have feelings as much as we do. So, they can basically feel the pain and fear. In this case, there is no difference between animals and human beings, and this is extremely selfish to make any differences between these two creatures. For example, as same as individuals might have concerns about harmful incidents and dangers, it is terrifying for animals to be subjected to this circumstance and get damaged by various substances.
Moreover, sacrificing animals for our lives might lead to the extinction of diverse species. Using laboratory animals for freshly produced goods is life-threatening, and many experiments cause the death of these animals. As a result, the number of them would face a sharp decline, and in some cases, it makes them extinct. For instance, there used to be a special white rabbit species, which it was used to test cosmetic products, and it has disappeared for more than a decade.
In conclusion, while other argue that animals can be abused by testers for dangerous tests to acknowledge some novel produced items, I firmly believe that it is a unethical behavior as they have a right to live without any harms by humans, and it is essential to prevent this accomplishment to save them, as they are highly likely to die out.
