To begin with big salaries and job satisfaction plays a vital role in a professional career of an individual. People often think as what should they give importance too, a big salary or if they are satisfied with their current job. Still they realize that big salary is much more crucial than a job satisfaction. Because money is ultimately the major goal of life in order to fulfill the desire and the needs. Therefore, I completely agree that big salaries plays an important role depending on the circumstances such as location, number of people living in a family and extra curicular activities.
Firstly, individuals living in a metropolitian cities have higher level of expenditure. This includes the rent, grocery, travel, apparel and some of the basic necessities which is required. As the competition increases in the market depending on the profit and growth of the companies, people start switching their jobs to earn more and save more. Looking at the current scenario in mind males and females needs part from their basics have reached at par as they have started investing in themselves. Specially Gen Z and millenials are fond of travelling, shopping and investing for their future in order to get good returns. Travelling basically provides them a mental peace which led them to work more proactively when they return to work. Investment is ideal keeping inflation in mind hence they have become more smarter and always aim for higher salaries for which they work hard even if their job satifaction is not providing them a certain level of happiness they are expecting just to keep their future secure having a good wealth in their bank account.
Secondly, bigger salaries are the core need of a person who is married and have a family including children. Nowadays, not among only corporate employees but the competition have also increased among their wives and children to keep the standard high. Everyone wants to provide an excellent education to their children and infact aiming to send them abroad for future studies. Therefore, to achieve this goal the person is required to have ample amount of savings and this can only be achieved by having bigger salary at a place they are working. Their wives have become smart by living in an advanced society and always eager to learn new things, join clubs, attend parties and make their place in a society thus, all this can be achieved if their bank accounts are flourised with extra money either if they are working or a dependent. However, big salaries sometimes also provides job satisfaction but it completely depends on a company and the environment they the people working there have manintained. Some companies have worked truly hard to manage the positive work attitute and provide all kind of facilities to their employees along with the money and the satifaction mentally which also helps them to be productive in all possible ways. Hence, both factors work hand in hand.

Hence, majority of them priortize bigger salary as compare to job satisfaction.
