Raising the next generation is one of the main missions of any society. The discussion over the need for parent’s courses before having a child has been going on for years. This essay will support my opinion and say why I completely agree that future parents should be required to attend these types of lessons.
From the psychological point, people who have gone through these courses will be more stable and well prepared for changes coming after getting a child. They will know what to expect and possible challenges they might get through during motherhood and fatherhood. For example, when a child’s character is not calm, but active and stubborn, the parent will be able to find the right way to talk using provided knowledge to the teenager, without having a negative affect on his mentality.
On the other hand, on these courses parents might be taught about all economic expenses and the amount of money that raising a child requires. Firstly, it will prevent poor families with low salaries from the birth of a child that they are not able to finance and provide high-quality education and life in general. For example, families with income below the minimum living wage are prone to have huge families relying only on the government payment. Lessons about financial responsibility can decrease the number of overconsumers that do not sort out their budget.
In conclusion, I totally agree with the idea of setting up courses for parents, due to the fact It will have a positive influence on conditions that kids will grow and it will prove the ability of adults to look after their child.
