In contrast, the modern library has undergone significant modifications to enhance user experience. The enquiry desk has been replaced by an information desk and self-service machines, making the library more automated. A café has been introduced, offering a space for relaxation. The reading room and CDs section have been replaced by a lecture room and a computer room. Moreover, a storytelling area with sofas has been added to the children’s section.
Overall, the library has shifted towards a more interactive and technology-driven environment, catering to modern needs while still maintaining its core function of providing books.
