In this day and age, when it comes to children’s freedom, people’s perspectives have been polarized. Many contend that during their spare time, they should engage in planned activities while others believe that they have their own right for choosing what they want to play. This essay will shed light on both views before giving my own statement.
On the one hand, off springs reap some fruits when freely doing any kind of activities they like. To begin with, they are much more enjoyable to their own activities. This is due to our distinction which is more happier and excited when doing anything we like than being forced by others. Therefore, when children choose their activities based on their hobbies or personalities, say, they will be much more comfortable, therefore totally immersing themselves in such activities. Furthermore, this enables juveniles to boost their creativity and imagination. They unlimitedly choose whatever they like to play during their break time at school by, for example, creating their own environment with new games and playing with their friends or playing even the former board games with new rules. As a consequence, they not only can be more creative but also as a way to strengthen the bond with classmates at school.
On the other hand, i believe that teachers should be on duty on organizing activities for their students during their break time. Firstly, it might be much safer when children might be managed by their educators. This is predicated on the assumption that children might take risks when freely doing everything they want at school such as playing with fire leading to be burned, or chasing after each other in the schoolyard leading to accidents like scars in their body. According to this theory, when teachers are responsible for such things, they might reduce these risks by supervising them or giving them some regulations to protect them. Secondly, planned activities allow juveniles not hold sedentary lifestyle. According to a fact that nowadays, people choose to stay indoors, scroll ups and downs any social media platforms or play online video games with their friends, leading to unhealthy routine. Hence, when being forced to do some activities made by teachers, they have more opportunities to get close to nature, broaden the horizons about the real-world knowledge and deeply connect with their friends.
In conclusion, i believe that it is much better for children to gain safety and get away the unhealthy lifestyle when playing planned activities by their teachers in lieu of doing whatever they like.
