In current times kids are taught to play and learn together, while some are also taught to always compete with their colleagues. In this essay I will be exploring both benefits and drawbacks of working together and making competition, highlighting points like co-ordination, ideas, and competition.
One significant advantage of working as a team is improving co-ordination. This is advantageous because, operating together can improvise team working skills and lead to positive results in various fields. For example, as their is a famous quote in sports that ” individual’s win you matches but teamwork wins championships”, so in sport like Cricket or Football individual performance cant win you tournament so it’s necessary to put team effort for winning the ultimate prize. Another important pro of our topic is development of new ideas. For instance, when a person is starting a business one individual can not make a successful organisation its important for him to find a co-owner who workes and helps in implementation of new and innovative ideas, that would be benificial for the company in long run. While the advantages of co-operating is noteworthy its also important to consider potential advantage of competing.
On the other hand, competition is important as it helps in pushing our limits and do better work. For example, in Cricket league IPL rivalry between team Csk and Mi is referred as the most fierce match in the league making them most comitative and most successful team in the championship. Likewise, in the business field, competitiveness helps us in knowing our rival better and how we can improve to overtake them and sustain in the field.
In my opinion, working as a team helps us in building team spirt and taking their organisation on heights. While competitive opposition is also needed that helps us to improvise our skills.
