In recent times, it has become increasingly common for corporations and governments to care about climate change that affects countries all over the world, as opposed to individuals. While this trend offers clear benefits associated with reducing labour in environmental issues, I believe that the contribution of individuals is equally important because it has a big impact on climate change.
Without a doubt, governments need to place considerable emphasis on climate change because this trend is becoming one of the most severe problems that have ever happened. When many countries focus on addressing climate change, they may manage to partially decrease hazardous gas emissions, thereby improving air quality in big cities. As a result, it enables city residents to improve their overall well-being by breathing pure and clean air, thereby elevating their moods, which raises the rate of happiness among citizens. A case in point is many developed countries like the USA and the UK, where governments care about climate change, improving their air quality.
However, in my view, the contribution of individuals is equally important because it plays a crucial role in affecting climate change in a positive way. If more and more people tend to organize common events related to environmental and climate change, they are likely to increase the number of plants, trees, and grasses, accelerating the absorption of carbon dioxide, nitrous gases, and other hazardous gases. Consequently, this leads to a reduction in the overall temperature of the atmosphere, normalizing the circulation of seasons, which causes many improvements not only in the overall health of the population but also in the agricultural system of the country. In a world where more and more people rely on governments rather than themselves to address climate change, the contribution of people can make a big difference when it comes to the budget of governments.
In conclusion, although the impact of governments on climate change has clearer effects than labour, I believe that the contribution of individuals is equally important because it has a considerable impact on addressing climate change.
