Coins and banknotes are likely to be replaced by credit and debit cards in the near future. I completely agree with this statement. I think credit cards more convenient to use for payments, and debit cards can guarantee of safety than coins or cash.
Credit cards can be useful for payments of shoppings, which all individuals prefer that.Managing cash requires counting, storing, transporting, and protecting money. People can pay for the things they want without leaving their homes. For instance, a traveller who loses cash may face serious difficulties, whereas a lost card can be cancelled immediately.
Another benefit would be about safety. In the past, people had to withdraw cash to pay bills or buy things. As a result, criminals could wait near ATMs and steal money from them. However, credit cards are safer because they can be blocked quickly through a phone call or banking app. If someone loses their card or it is stolen, they can immediately disable it and protect their money. For instance, card payments create clear transaction histories, making it much harder to obscure financial earnings comapared to cash.
In conclusion, credit and other bank issues cards are much safer and more convenient than carrying coins and paper bills.
