The increasing amount of attention given to the advertisement has gained enormous popularity among companies, which is believed by many to have an influence on consumers. The effects of this phenomenon are varied, and there are some possible solutions that can be applied.
First of all, it is undoubtedly true that there are some negative consequences of advertising in terms of product’s quality. Because if companies spend a lot of efforts to advertise their goods, it is obvious that their attention to production will be less, and it will lead to the reducing quality of products. It means companies are making contribution to the dissatisfaction of consumers by easily not doing necessary tasks which they are responsible for. Additionally, it is evident that consumers who are encountered with low-quality goods and services will be disappointed, which makes companies advertise their products over and over again. Besides that, nowadays companies are exaggerating their products so much, which may result in consumers’ discouragement. In our modern world’s market, there are some types of brands or products that are not popular or out of fashion due to the low quality. In these kinds of situations, manufacturers tend to advertise their products with adding variety of lies in order to sell their goods, which causes some irritation in consumers.
From an opposite angle, some certain solutions can be used to address this problem. One of the effective solutions may be implementing some limitations for advertising, such as putting high costs for small advertisements or there should be certain places for publishing them. If governments charge a huge amount of money for advertising any goods, the producers will think ahead before making any announcements and it would be very advantageous for consumers if there were the exact places for advertising. In this situation, they will not come across or will not be interrupted by numerous adverts which bother them every time.
In conclusion, it is undeniably true that there are plenty of negative concernings in advertising like low-quality products or demotivation of consumers and the implementation of some limitations that can be a remedy for people to achieve better quality goods with no advertisements at all.
