Some countries with longer working hours are more economically successful than other countries. I disagree with this idea because working long hours does not always mean that a country has a stronger economy.
On the one hand, one of the most important factors in economic success is productivity. If employees work quickly and efficiently and produce high-quality work, this is productivity. For example, if one employee completes seven tasks in one hour and does them well, they can be more productive. As a result, higher productivity supports a country’s economic development. In Japan, employees work shorter hours but produce better results.
On the other hand, when employees work long hours, it can negatively affect their health, causing problems such as fatigue and stress. Sometimes, working long hours can also affect their quality of life. As a result, a lot of employees may leave their jobs, and this can damage economic success. For example, my mother works long hours in a factory, which can harm her health and leave her with less time for her family.
In conclusion, working long hours can have many negative effects on people’s lives and health.
