A significant number of individuals believe that cryptocurrencies are highly advantageous for global transactions. This essay strongly agrees with this statement, and I believe that virtual currencies have more benefits, as they are faster payments and also secure transactions.
First of all, I believe that cryptocurrencies are faster payments, connecting international banking systems. Cryptocurrency transfers are not delayed by international borders or banking hours. For example, Bitcoin and Ethereum transfers are performed within a few minutes, making them highly efficient. These fast performances become significantly productive for people by reducing waiting duration. Blockchain networks ensure that transactions can take place 24/7, making them ideal for individuals and businesses in different time zones.
Furthermore, electronic currencies are absolutely secure as they are associated with blockchain technology. Unlike traditional payment methods that rely on centralized institutions, blockchain-based transactions are encrypted, making them highly resistant to fraud and hacking. For instance, each transaction is verified by a secure mechanism, preventing any unauthorized access and reducing risks. This level of security provides users with great confidence in online transactions.
However, it is also true that cryptocurrencies are highly volatile; their prices can rise or fall dramatically in a short time. For example, Bitcoin reached $69,000 in 2021 but later dropped $20,000. It is over $100,000 currently. Nonetheless, I still consider cryptocurrency to be more positive.
In conclusion, I would like to, once again, reiterate my view that cryptocurrencies are more beneficial because they offer a faster and more secure payment. In the future, as technology advances, cryptocurrencies will likely become even more integrated into global financial systems, further enhancing their benefits.
