In today’s connected world, with many fluctuations in the innovative lifestyles of elders in the world. It has become an inevitable trend in our lives, and nobody can deny it. Some people think that “old people should live with their families, which is contrast to the view that old peole should live at at nursing home.” Personally, of course, I think everything has two sides, and this is true for this unresolved issue.
On the one hand, it is better for old people to live with their own families. Firstly, when moral aspects are taken into consideration, that elderly people stay with their kids is obvious. This is true for the traditions of my family. Instead of putting my grandparents in a nursing home when they are not healthy, my parents want to stay also take care for them at home. Maybe the most important to elders are happy memories from their family. Please continue to love and take care of your parents before its too late.Secondly, grandparents are the best “babysitters” because they give their grandchildren with unconditional loves. They are willing to take care your child when you away from the house, and seem as their children. Also, the old will become good consultants for their kids with rich experience in both work and life. When you feel difficulties in your live and careers, they will see you through this feeling.
On the other hand, nursing homes are ideal places for senior citizens. To begin with, they can have more fun with their peers, which makes them feel happier in their twilight life. Clearly, when a person is ever 60 years old, they need old friends in order to take care and help one another what the young cannot do. Furthermore, it is safer for them to stay in rest homes because medical cares are always available. When they have urgent problems about health and mental such as highblood pressure, stroke, and so on.Therefore, the nursing home is an ideal location for elders and unfortunate mother who are alone and abandoned.
In conclusion, whether the home or a nursing home is preferred will depend on each person’s preference or needs and even different countries.
