Today, some parts of society thinks that the money spent for libraries is unacceptable. According to them, advancements in technology enables us to replace them with computer. There are several reasons for their opinion, however, I completely disagree with this consideration and this essay I will state my reasons.

To begin with, the first reason for people, who consider sources should be saved by replacing them by computers, seeking a book in the library is much more complicated than computer. What I mean is, according to them, if you upload books and other sources to computer it will ease the search of desired book. Moreover, this will eliminate the wasting one`s time for commuting and seeking. On the other hand, there is an opponents who claims that libraries are not used for only keeping the books. Additionally, they can used as a place for studying and some educational organizations. I totally concord this idea. Computer can`t completely replace the library.

I have numbers of reasons why libraries is important. First of all, they keeps history that can`t be transmitted to computers. To clarify that, there are lots of handwritings which worth as much as gold. They should kept in places like libraries under the control of professionals. Besides, student can study in library due to its silent and comfortable atmosphere. In addition, library can contain variety of sources that students need and this reasons make libraries such a lovely place for learning.

Consequently, libraries are essential to society and they shouldn`t be replaced by any technological device. If this will happen in the future, to my best of knowldedge, there will be great impact on the development of society. Because, libraries symbolizes developmental level of population.
