These days, the subject of using drug by youth is a concern for parents all over the world. Indeed, with the help of modern technology, that makes it easy to spread adverse trends, even adults can be easily misled by it, let alone children. However, one of the most effective ways for parents to protect their children is to educate them.

Another reason is social acceptobility. For example, in some countrys it is not forbidden to smoke in public places including playgrounds and cafes. For young people it can seem like a norma to do the same things. Although hard drugs are illegal they are still popular among youth. The attraction to them can be result of the pressure from society. Lack of care from parents and abuse at home are addition factors. Drugs can be considered by desperate children such a way of escaping reality and releasing the frustration. However, using them doesn’t help to resolve problems and often leads to loss of life.
The problem can be solved by parents with the help of care. First, they have to maintain a healthy atmosphere at home. But sometimes it isn’t enouth. For example, there are a lot of people who were brought up in wealthy good famalies but nevertheless become addivted. Therefore, parents should pay their attention to children’s interests, problems and surraundings to be confident that they aren’t in danger. The most important measure is education. Parents should educate their children to discern adverse things and explain the consequences of using them.
In conclusion, in our modern world it can be extremely difficult to keep children away from harmful things such as drugs due to attractive advertisement and social acceptability of legal drugs. It is a big problem because it causes many health problems and even death. It is a parents’ responsibility to protect their children from these hazardous things ,so they should spend more time with them and educate them.
