Widespread drug use are prominent nowadays. Drugs are at risk to be use abusively by adults and now even minors tend to use it at an earlier age.
One of its negative effect is addiction. A minor who is addicted to drugs can have a widespread signs and symptoms, not only it is causing detrimental effect to his body such as hallucinations, and delirium, it is also fatal since drugs can destroy kidneys, liver and can also inhibit growth and development of a child. It can also lead to negative outcome not only to the family but also to the society as well.
To stop and fight against minor drug abuse. Parental supervision and government action are required. Government should strongly implement its laws to do what it can to stop youth to use drugs. Empower parents by health teaching regarding the bad effects of drug use. Lastly, parents supervision is encouraged, so that these minors were not to engage to bad vices and habits.
In conclusion, it is very alarming that drugs were used by minors at increasing early age. Therefore, parental supervision and government actions are required to address this concern.
