Some countries prefer to fine people while some governments agree to community service instead. However, I totally agree with community service works. So, in forthcoming paragraph, I shall expound my thought in details.
Primely, the community service for society is better because it allows individuals to give back to their community, fostering a sense of responsibility and connection. this can lead to personal growth and a better understanding of the impact of their action and learn valuable skill. Therefore, community service fosters a sense of belonging and encourages individuals to give back. For instance, a young person who helps clean up a neighborhood might feel more invested in their community, reducing the likelihood of future offenses. Additionally, community service can be more beneficial for society as a whole as help it local project and needs. Participating in community service can help individuals develop new skills. For example, someone might help with landscaping in a park, learning about horticulture and teamwork, which can be beneficial for future job opportunities.
On the other hand, fines can sometimes feel punitive and may not led to meaningful change in behavior or sometimes fines can be a burdensome, especially for those who may already be facing financial difficulties. However, individuals can start working at the local shelter for example to increase their sense of responsibilities.
In conclusion, the effectiveness of either approach can depend on the individual and the context, So I agree that community service promote people’s participations and responsibilities in way that fines may not.
