In this day and age, education is a top priority for many people, and there is an ongoing debate about whether parents should push students too hard to study. In my opinion, this approach will bring many negative effects for students and parents; instead, we have many better methods to help students achieve high scores. In this essay, I will explain obviously my point and give other more effective strategies.
Firstly, one of the serious effects of forcing students to learn hard is to leave them feeling more and more bored with their education and lose interest in living. Moreover, they will be stressed and pressured heavily by excessive pushing. For example, nowadays, there is a wide range of adolescents who have ended their lives due to the great pressure from parents, scores, and schools, and the figure still hasn’t gone down. Additionlly, this approach is also to be out of the dynamic and opposed to studying. So we shouldn’t force students to study hard in their youth.
Secondly, instead of forcing adolescents, we can encourage them in their studies by worthy rewards, such as something they like, praise, or even a hug. Furthermore, parents should take an interest in education for their offspring more than they do. For example, in the fact that a child showed interest and was motivated by their parents has more awareness studies than one who is forced to learning. Another approach is to instruct and set an example for children in their studies to help them become more self-aware and more responsible people.
In conclusion, my opinion is that we shouldn’t force adolescents to learn excessively because it will counteract the effect, and we should try many other better methods to help children have an interest in their studies.
