The growing number of overweight people is putting a strain on the health care system in an effort to deal with the health issues involved. Some people think that the best way to deal with this problem is to introduce more physical education lessons in the school curriculum. To what extend do you agree or disagree?
Nowadays, people are getting overweight day by day and these people effect government’s health care system. While some people say that this is due to physical education class not being enough, however I believe that this problem could be solved by introducing proper diet and establishing it so this issue can have permanent solution.
To begin with, fulfilling kids with only physical education is not going to be enough. This is because, not every scholar will be able to have sports ball to themselves and move actively as each class has approximately 35 students on average, I believe adding extra time for this class will not be affective. These children are mostly adolescents, they can feel insecure about their body which will not make them happy and can lead to hating sports. For example, research shows that, most obese kids try to escape PE class and the answers were simply saying they get laughed at and get bullied and never try to attempt again because of the past trauma.
On the other hand, I personally think that introducing them to healthy diet and forcing them to do it is better option. Diet takes a huge proportion of weigh losing journey and having a good knowledge is potential of it knowing your limits and filling up your daily calories and protein needs will be a game changer. As they can follow it even after graduating school whereas adults get their daily habits on what they used to do in their young years.
In conclusion, at present people are giving pressure to government by being overweight. Individuals believe adding extra physical education classes can help solving this problem, I certainly disagree and believe that giving them lecture about diet is more beneficial and long term solution.
