Education is the most important part of everyone’s life and plays a crucial role in individual development. It is true that unemployment increases day by day, and education can help address this dilemma. I will explain further in the following passages.
To start with, many people have degrees or diplomas in higher education, yet they still find it difficult to secure jobs due to a lack of opportunities. Moreover, the population of nations continues to rise; for instance, India has about 2 billion people, and the younger generation is struggling to find employment. The main reason for this issue is the lack of skill development in specialized fields. Additionally, advancements in technology, such as automation and robotics, have replaced many jobs traditionally held by individuals, impacting industries in India. For instance, if there are 500 vacancies in any department, around 500 candidates will present themselves for interviews, which reflects the challenges faced by the newer generation. Furthermore, the unemployment rate continues to rise, causing various problems in society.
Young people face numerous challenges, such as depression, and many unfortunately turn to criminal activities like gambling, theft, and even violence to meet their daily needs. The government and education systems should participate in skill development programs and encourage youth entrepreneurship, helping them to establish their own businesses rather than solely seeking job opportunities. I believe the government should provide grants to skilled workers to support their ventures. For example, practical skills are essential in every field, and they are often more valuable than theoretical knowledge alone. Merely having a degree may not be sufficient to succeed.
In conclusion, to tackle this situation, both the government and the public must take proactive steps. Education is essential for growth, but knowledge about one’s field and the development of practical skills are crucial.
