It is argued that preserving the ecosystem is the responsibility of politicians as people can do too little. Meanwhile, communities can make a change in this topic, however, politicians have money and influence to make a huge difference.
Politicians can get massive amounts of financial aid from the government, which is more than enough to support organizations cleaning contaminated water sources and polluted forests. Another way of encouraging individuals to save the world is holding campaigns and offering money. With local administrators’ help these events could be organized. Gradually, citizens will clean up the trash in local areas without being rewarded. Several studies conducted by Sadarak State University revealed something crucial: some students were given extra points on their midterm exam. This created a domino effect, and the new students on the campus cleaned up trash without knowing what this meant.
Another trait that officials have and individuals don’t is influence. Officials can use their power to encourage people save the world as planting trees or using paper bags. This could be done without any financial support. With the help of media, politicians can create public campaigns. Studies conducted by BLAH University showed that people tend to copy the actions of the people they admire. This can’t be done by ordinary citizens.
To conclude, politicians can help save the environment better than individuals. This could be explained as officials have power and influence.
