Undeniably, education should be a right, not an advantage. Everybody should have access to university study program, irrespective of their academic background. In my opinion, I agree that everybody ought to have the opportunity of university study as it will greatly benefit both society and individuals.
One of the good reasons to give everyone opportunity of university education is that it offers people, whether they are academically talented or talentless, equal rights. At present, people from poorer academic backgrounds are prevented from entering university because most universities have tendency to admit students who have academic achievements. This excludes a large proportion of society and is discriminatory, which can be avoided by promoting equal opportunity and inclusivity.
Another point to consider is that university education offers not only academic knowledge but also opportunities for personal growth, social skill development, and critical thinking. These social skills are as essential as education so that they enhance the quality life of individuals. Because good social skills enable individuals to communicate, collaborate, and build strong relationships with others which result in fostering a sense of belonging and overall well-being. In addition, developing strong critical thinking skill helps individuals analyze information, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively which can lead to better outcomes in personal, academic, and professional aspects of life. As a result, allowing everyone from varying levels of academic background can give them a chance to benefit both academically and socially.
In conclusion, having access to university education for people of different academic background is a must for a country values equal rights and individual growth. Universities can University study programs should be accessible to all individuals, irrespective of their academic abilities.
