Band 5+: Excessive traffic has made cities unpleasant places to live and work in. For this reason, private cars should be completely banned from city centres. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

A plenty of traffic jams have coused comments that cities are dismal place. Some consider that private vehicles ought not to be allowed to drive in cities’ central areas. It is exactly contradictory to my view. Because there are several alternatives to tackle this problem in cities.

Some people think that private cars should be restricted in central lands in cities. There is not problem with this way. However, there are other patterns to avoid traffic jams. For example, if city councils expand main roads and construct extra roads in other part of the land, rarely do traffic jams occur in cities. This prevents negative cases and intensify productivity in working and living in cities. Also, if private cars are forbidded, residents as well as tourists rely on public transportation. As a result, this ends up concerns associated with public transportation. Thus, replacements would be better to minimize levels in traffic jams in towns.

Traffic jams can drive residents and non-natives away from cities because of severity in it. Increasing the number of road police officers would be optimal solution. Put simply, they can have large contribution to combat troubles which are related to traffic jams. Traffic jams are particularly raging in junctions, which leads road accidents on the fields. If government notifies road emergency services to place more performers there, they instruct drivers where to operate their vehicles, essentially in junctions. This can have positive implications so as to deal with issues relating to traffic jams. This can also prove my opposition to banning private transportations.

In conclusion, while others find that restriction in private cars can be maximum way to minimize traffic jams in towns, I argue against this option. Since replacements are needed for prevention in traffic jams, such as maximizing the amounts of roads in cities.
