People are of the opinion that face-to-face conversation is better than other modes of communication like letters, email, or telephone calls. Personally, I totally agree with this point of view due to several reasons.
On the one hand, it’s easy to understand how someone is feeling during a conversation based on how they react. According to research, nonverbal interaction such as eye contact or body language plays a crucial role in communication, sometimes conveying emotions and intentions more effectively than spoken words. As a result, face to face contact is the easiest way to communicate with others without much trouble understanding. In addition, direct conversation helps individuals build confidence by encouraging them to actively participate in discussions which makes their relations better with others.
Moreover, offline communication provides the advantage of information protection. Offline conversations always give us the feeling of reliability to share things. For instance, with social media, people can create a group chatting with others, however important messages such as those related to work can be leaked. Furthermore, a person tends to be more attentive when receiving immediate feedback and clarification on tasks which enable them to make quick adjustments and improve their skills so that they can achieve success in their work.
In conclusion, in my opinion, all-important issues can better be discussed in face-to-face conversations. It provides us effective ways to show exactly what we want to express and not make anyone feel unpleasant.
