In today’s world, fewer people use pens or pencils for writing. I believe that this happens mainly because of the development of technology. This is generally a positive trend.
The advancement of technology has made writing more convenient and efficient. For instance, it is effortless to write down notes or instant ideas using a phone or another gadget, while people need to put effort into writing by pen or pencil on paper. Some sites even require only a person’s voice, and the application types the paragraph for the person. Furthermore, typing with a phone or computer enhances writing skills by using spell-check, auto-correct, and various options.
It is unquestionable that this trend has numerous benefits. One of the positive aspects would be the significant increase in productivity and the ability to instantly share information with others, regardless of location. This fosters collaborations and communication in ways that were previously unimaginable. Moreover, in this way, people can reduce the cutting of trees by using technology. The paper is made out of trees.
To sum up, I would like to reaffirm my position about why pens and pencils have become non-popular in the world. While some may argue that the loss of traditional writing tools is a negative aspect, I believe that this is a positive one.
