As human beings, I definitely agree that “earning money” is just a natural response to the question of why people work hard. Some people work really hard to provide for themselves and their families; but for some especially for those really priviledge ones, working is just a way for them to past time and probably enjoy their own lives.
People tend to have different perspectives with regards to money. But I do believe money is an essential aspect of our everyday lives. It is the reason why there’s food on our tables, the reason we have electricity and clean water, the reason we are clothed, the reason we’re able to put our children to school, the reason we’re able to go from one place to another and the reason why we’re able to live longer. It is one of the main reasons why we are working hard, because money can help us achieve the goals and dreams we aspire to have. Without it, people may have a hard time surviving in this unfair and cruel world; because unfortunately, there are some instances that despite how much they work hard, they are still not getting the amount of money they deserve. I just really hope that in the future, the time will come when there will be a sense of justice when it comes to those people who are definitely overworked but are always underpaid.
I do believe that money isn’t everything, and you shouldn’t revolve yourself or allow it to fully cloud your mind. A lot of people believe and say that money can’t buy happiness, but for me, the true definition of happiness will vary depending on the person you’re talking to. And for some, their “happiness” can be achieved with the help of the money that they really worked hard for.
