Fossil fuels are the primary source of energy globally. However, people are urged to adopt alternative energy sources such as wind and solar power. This essay will discuss both views and give my opinion.

On the one hand, fossil fuels are the main energy providers across the globe since there are many conventional energy sources around the world. Additionally, these fuels sources have been used for a long time and cheaper, so many countries prefer fossil fuels usage. However, fossil-based energy is limited and running out increasingly. This will cause these resources to run out in the future. Additionally, fossil resources are polluting the air and causes global warning.

On the other hand, alternative energy sources are too useful every way. Firstly, reduces climate change and slows down global warming. Secondly, renewable energy is protecting the environment and on these harmful gases are reduced, people get sick less often since solar and wind energy do not pollute the air. Although it is expensive at first, the cost will decrease later. Requires a lot of space and not always effective which is a problem for many countries. Finally, if there is no sun or no wind, there will not be enough energy.

In conclusion, countries should set up renewable energy, due to the limited availability of fossil-based energy. I personally support the idea that in the future, people should gradually switch to renewable energy because it is an ecological and sustainable solution.
