Nowadays, as the water resource is lacking in some regions worldwide, an increasing demand for this limited supply has led to a significant global issue. As the population is increasing rapidly, governments should declare appropriate legal rights to prevent water loss and protect this resource against water pollution, as well as the water saving actions and natural water hygiene programs from the individuals.
As the current circumstances of water supplies are suffering from a severe shortage since the global population is increasing rapidly, the resources are unable to fulfill the individuals’ demand, threatening the life of many people, especially people from the regions which have not got enough water yet. Economic developments, life improvement, social appliances and services have made the childbirth become easier, which encourages individuals to have more babies and increase the population. As water is a vital supply for humanity, the rising population is leading to an increasing demand for this criteria, as more people need to have enough water. However, in some regions, since the objective reason of critical weather is exaggerating the impact of drought and hotness, such as in the Africa or Middle East, or the subjective reason of wasting or polluting natural water, this means of fundamental supply is detrimentally destroyed, hindering millions of individuals from consuming their appropriate need, especially when the population is increasing. For instance, a severe oil leaking accident occured in the Da river in northern Vietnam has hazardously polluted the water supply of Hanoi’s citizens, affecting a host of individuals’ health.
As water resources are not enough for such an increasing population, Legal instruments should be claimed by authorities to prevent the prodigality of water used for futile purposes, as it is a necessary supply. Authorities can increase the cost of water, which encourages the manufacturers and companies to reduce their water usage. As they have to utilize their expenditure, factories will facilitate a smaller amount of water in a meaningful solution, which can save more limited resources of water. For example, an increasing water cost in the UK has led to a significant saving among companies and manufacturers. In addition, individuals should practise water saving hobbies to not only protect the environment but also save their pockets. Many appropriate actions can be done by people, such as taking a shower instead of taking a bath, or washing dishes faster. As these actions can reduce the amount of water used by individuals, people can also save the expenditure for water supplies since the water fee is increasing.
In conclusion, regarding a lack of water resources in certain areas, since the global population has boomed significantly during the short time, an increasing water demand has led to the failure of fulfilling this demand, which can be assumed as an issue worldwide. While authorities should have precise policies to maintain and improve the water supplies, individuals should also have significant actions, such as decreasing the amount of water used, or cleaning the dirty lakes, ponds or rivers.
