Nowadays, demand for fresh water is increasing and this resource is limited in some parts of the world. This situation lead to a problem that should concern all the people in the world. This is happening due to the increasing number of population in the world, and it might be solved with some measurements taking by government.
One of the main reason for the increased demand of fresh water is rapidly growth of population in the some parts of the world. It is expected that this growth will continue for the near future and limited resources of water will be the global concern until it prevented by governments and individuals. For example, in Nigeria population surges every year and the resources of fresh water in this country is not enough for the needs of all the population. These resources decrease continuously and finding fresh water might be difficult if this situation will not solved for 10 years.
To tackle this situation, one approach is restricting overpopulation in some parts of the world. This effective strategy might be addressed by government. Governments can promote parents to have fewer children in families with some measurements and rewards in order to prevent increased demand for fresh water resources. Researches has shown that governments’ offers might encourage parents to not have greater number of children, and this government measurement can be end with great success. Then governments can allocate fresh water resources fairly within population. For instance, Turkey’s government implementing this strategy for years, and according to datas on fresh water resources in Turkey, government overcome this problem.
In conclusion, the main cause behind increased demand of fresh water is overpopulation in some parts of the world and it may be tackled by government measurement related to promoting parents to have fewer children.
