There are some reasons for increase demand and over population is one of the main cause. The government and people can join hands together to resolve this problem. This essay will discuss both causes and steps to solve this problem.
There are some causes for limited water resources. Population growth is the first main cause. Water is used to perform various daily living activities such as for drinking, cooking, bathing, washing clothes and many more. Does with the increased number of citizens in the country, the demand of water also rises. Another major concern is industrialisation. More and more industries are developed in place of grounds in order to fulfil the demand of employment. It also affects the natural resources of water. Further more the waste generated from the factories or companies is thrown into the rivers which pollute the water. So, the polluted water cannot be used for the purpose of drinking And cooking. For example, according to a survey, the Yamuna river water was polluted due to waste stage thrown from factories situated near the river and marine animals were died in Delhi. In addition to this, deforestation is also a contributing factor to decrease natural water resources.
On the other hand, to resolve this issue, government and public can take several steps. The government can make programs to stop over population by wearing local people. Law should be reformed to prevent deforestation. Along with this, citizens can make water tanks to store rainwater. The water used for washing Clothes and hand washing can be reused for flushing. Natural water resources can be secured.
