Providing detailed reports of crimes in newspapers and on television can lead to negative effects, therefore, such information should be limited in the media. This essay disagrees with first statement, because the media prevent rumors or misinformation and this will help to influence justice.

Providing detailed information in newspapers and on television can help to people to know about the crime. Moreover, fake news about crime can contribute to panic among the people. In this case, journalists provide factual and accurate details. For instance, when a series of robberies occurred in a city, false rumors spread on social media, exaggerating the danger and causing unnecessary fear. However, newspapers and television provided accurate details about the actual incidents, helping people stay informed and take necessary precautions without unnecessary panic.

The crime of popular people has a lot of publicity among society, because numerous people follow them. Therefore, in social media people are watching their actions. For instance, in 2024 in Kazakhstan, the murder of the wife of the ex-Minister of Economy has gained wide resonance among society. Because, he had a high position in the government.Furthermore, his trial was in an online format, which increased interest among people.

In conclusion, while crime reports may have some negative effects, restricting them entirely would not be beneficial. However, the media presenting exact materials promote to evade misinformation of serious crimes. In addition, it also helps to influence justice on popular persons in society.
