In recent years, many products, food and entertainment have been globalized in the world.Some individuals argue that globalization has negatively influenced cultural identity. Presumably, I agree with this statement.

Firstly, globalization has an effect on many things. For instance, the loss of cultural diversity, such as clothing, foods and rituals.Many people are captivated in homogenization through social media, namely internet can assist in cross-pollination. Therefore, individuals lose variety among cultures.For example, there are symbols, national clothes and meals in all nationalities, however, even people’s view are being globalized in fast evolved world.

Secondly,globalization might have an impact on economy, such as reduced numbers of tourists due to similar environment:skyscrapers,restaurants and brands of clothes. For instance, if tourist goes to foreign countries, he will possibly see various brand names, such as Zara, Lous Vuitton, Gucci and San Laurent. As a result, individuals do not need to go shopping overseas, having an insignificance of traveling.

To conclude, globalization has led to the spread of the loss of cultural diversity are caused by globalizing many things, decreasing the number of tourists. I believe that it has a negative effect on the identity of culture.

The government should pay for large pieces of art for public display in outdoor places. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
