In contemporary society, globalisation is accelerated to achieve economic improvements. From my perspective, this phenomenon significantly contributes to greater economic scale and promotes cultural exchange as well which should be further encouraged.
Firstly, gender equality and cultural diversity could be substantially benefited from globalisation. In particular, cross-border movements and elimination of national barrier consequently ease the process of recruitment from multinational companies. It should be noted that there is an increasing number of staffs from different backgrounds in terms of nationality, origin or sexuality currently working for international corporations namely Disney or Google. Hence, these people could return to their countries, contributing considerably to their national welfare and boosting economic growth. This solution can be used as an effective way to eliminate discrimination and racism globally.
Secondly, regarding economic impact, the third world is taking advantage from advanced technology and expertise employees. Manufacturing industries such as textile or agriculture are adopting cutting-edge technology in their facilities and production process, thus exponentially reducing the amount of time allocated on respective procedure and production cost. In addition, sponsorship and opportunity to study aboard are becoming approachable to students with outstanding academic records, whose consequently settle in their original countries and devote themselves. As a result, equipped with exceptional critical thinking and professional skills, this workforce can contribute exponentially to the market.
In conclusion, from my perspective, negative sides of globalisation are negligible in comparison with their advantages and hence, have yet to be recognised by the public. Specifically, due to their financial benefits and promoting diversity, globalisation are evidently crucial to today’s society.
