Band 4+: Some people think that the best way to improve road safety is to increase the min legal age for driving a car or motorbike. To what extent do you agree/disagree

There is no denying tge fact that governments ought to take serious actions to prevent car accidents. While it is a commonly held belief that minimum driving age should be increased, there is also an argument that opposes it. In my opinion, I consider that the minimum driving age should be 21 years instead of 18.

To begin with, teenagers are entuseastic and their actions my be unpredectable. In other words, their reactions to stimulations are extreme, and they are easy to be angry, or irretated. As a result, cars and motors accidents are more likely to happen among teen’s drivers. For example, a study conducted on cars accidents and its causes, its results showed that the second higher share goes to teen’s drivers after alchool.

Another point to concider is their lack of experience, and sitiuations miss-judjements. It is also possible to say they should be taking extra driving practice untill they reach the legal age. Moreover, teenagers are in a developing age, so their mind is not fully grown. For instance, an 18 years old may react to a driving sitiuation agressively, whil he should be calm.

In conclusion, despite people having different views, I belief that minimum driving age should be increased, and driving licsense should not be givin to anyone untill he proves his discipline.
