Nowadays the main problem is climate change, which is terrifying everyone. Therefore , there is a belief that the government should allocate more money to renewable energy sources. I certainly think this is a wise idea, since natural sources can run out, and they cause significant damage to the environment.
Fossil fuels are one of the main sources of energy, but in fact, emissions from them harm the earth. As they pollute our air and water, as well as having a huge impact on global warming. Last but not least, they also negatively affect people’s health, so it is obvious why people are so concerned about this issue. In addition, because of that, the natural sources of energy are in high demand; it is reasonable to assume that sooner or later they will run out.
On the other hand, alternative energy production methods do not bring damage to the environment. Renewables, such as solar panels or wind power, are derived directly from the sun or wind. However, they are far from excellent, due to there being challenges that need to be overcome. For example, the sun does not always shine, especially at night and in the morning when it is necessary, and also the weather is not always windy. Therefore, the government should promote alternative energy sources to make them more advanced for the convenience of people.
In the light of these facts, it can be concluded that the renewable energy sources are an effective way to preserve our environment for many years, as other sources are only very harmful and may eventually disappear, so that they will not remain for future generations.
