Some people believe that it is more beneficial for developing countries to financially invest on improving local economy, focusing on tourism or commercial industry and reduce their funding on health care services or educational porposes. I beileve a society can not achieve any great improvment without basic education and adequate health.
Growth in the economy benefits the government and citizens themselves and is the ultimate goal. The tourist industry has wast impact on every part of a country, it means the money flow starting from a retail store selling local products to a foreigner to individuals involved in constructing a hotel or working there as an employee or manager, an economy grows faster when its industry is well-taken and doesn’t have to tumble in each sector due to the lack of financial resources. There is no limit on importing raw materials and what is needed, producing goods, and exporting them or using them in the domestic market.
On the other hand, without proper education, the workforce will be unskilled. In a country that lacks specialized working labor impossible to begin growing and developing the economy or even have educated health staff to treat peients. Nevertheless, with an inadequate health care system to care for people’s well-being, who are serving as laborers in a country’s economy it is difficult to move forward and achieve anything.
In conclusion, it is best for developing countries to invest their limited financial resources in more fundamental necessities and then benefit from a healthy and skilled workforce to improve the economy.
