Education is a basic need of individuals. This is my firm conviction that the authorities should not pay the fees for the learners to study at university.
To begin with, if the government pays the tution fees for all the learners who want to study at university, they will fall into the trap of lack of money. Because if the authorities only invest in only one sector, they will never have the opportunity to invest money on others like military, health care etc. For example, India has invested large amount of money in the education industry. For that reason, they have to reduce the money invested on the military system. As a result, they have faced several consequences for this step such as Pahelgam attack, Chinese army’s entry in Ladakh state etc. Thus, it is necessary to the government to distribute money according to the merits of necessity.
Additionally, if the ruling party invests on the tution fees for the create a huge job crisis in the country. To elaborate, the high level of educated can cause major job crisis in the nation. Because, if everyone gets educated, they will try to find white collar jobs rather than any skill based jobs such as construction worker, plumber etc. As a result, the economic balance of the governments gets shattered. That’s why the authorities need to make the balance by not investing tution fees for the learners who want to study at university.
To conclude, the government needs to distribute their money by ensuring that the people of their country is not getting affected by the choices they made.
