Nowadays, consumption of fast food has significantly increased, leading to numerous diseases that can severely affect a person’s life. The health of every average-standard pupil may be reduced in the future, starting from this decade. I completely agree with this statement, and the reasons are mentioned in the paragraphs below.
Firstly, nowadays, the consumption of fast food is more prevalent than that of healthy food. Children prefer to consume fast foods such as pizza and burgers. As researchers suggest, healthy foods like green vegetables and protein-rich foods help people stay fit and balanced throughout their lifespan. Otherwise, there is a chance of diseases such as obesity, cancer, heart issues, and respiratory diseases. To cite an example, my friend likes to eat many chips every day; however, one day he was admitted to the hospital due to vomiting and stomach pain, resulting in pain that he could not sustain.
Moreover, one of the major reasons predicted by healthcare standards is environmental pollution. Rapid industrialization and urbanization have led to an alarming increase in air, water, and soil pollution. For example, factories and vehicles release large quantities of harmful carbon dioxide and nitrogen, contributing to poor air quality. Prolonged exposure leads to asthma and chronic bronchitis. For example, if pollution continues to rise, people’s life expectancy is likely to decrease.
To conclude, there is a significant chance of decreased health due to the following reasons: people’s lifestyles, the stress they face in their lives, and the consumption of fast foods.
