I strongly agree that health services should be available for everyone.I agree with this idea. The right to health exists as one of the fundamental rights that belong to every human being. Human beings should have the right to maintain sound health. Poor people gain access to medical treatment because health services operate without fees. The lack of ability to pay for medicine or doctors will never cause them to suffer.
To begin with, Every citizen of Sri Lanka could receive treatment at government hospitals without any cost. This one is the sound system. People from all income levels could enter these medical facilities to receive medical help without making financial payments. The initiative prevents both sickness and death occurrences. Many lives were protected through free health services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Patients did not need to concern themselves about finance issues during their sickness.
In addition, through free medical care, Sri Lanka achieves multiple benefits for itself. The availability of sound health allows individuals to support their family through employment. These services benefit the economic growth of countries through active population contribution. Nationwide problems occur when the citizens fall sick and are unable to work. When a farmer gets sick, he cannot continue his agricultural activities. This affects food production.
In conclusion, the public views the government spending on free health services as an expense for taxpayers. But it is worth it. A healthy population leads to powerful national development. The government should dedicate funds to health care instead of investing in complications that serve no purpose. The delivery of no-cost healthcare remains vital to all society members. Free health services serve as fair measures for promoting a better society.
