There are many pros of using social media instead of communicating through traditional methods. Firstly, it saves a lot of time, people will be able to communicate through the internet within a matter of time as the internet is accessible across the globe and it does not require any mediator like the post office,..etc . Secondly, it is easy to communicate from different parts of the world.It also leads to technological advancement by spreading awareness to people across the globe. Thirdly, people can get access to a lot of information through social media.For instance, the survey shows that 80% of the population have been using social media for communication for the past few decades.
On the other hand there are also cons of using it. Firstly, there might be a chance of the information being leaked.There are many hackers in the society and there is a possibility that they might read your messages. Secondly, One must compulsorily require the internet for communication through social media. There are certain locations where it’s very difficult to access the internet, in such cases the traditional methods are more useful. I personally believe that the advantages of using social media for communication weights the usage of traditional methods
