Human activities have negatively affected plants and animals around the globe. Some individuals argue that this will be remain unchanged, whereas others think actions should be taken for a change. In my opinion, actions can be taken only if the government addresses the situation.
The government should implement new regulatory policies to save the ecosystem. For that, they need to restrict a particular area from any kind of human activities since this can provide safety to the habitat of living things. For instance, in Colombia the government issues a permanent banned of human activities for a specific land, which is more than 1millions actre. This land has been designated to only wildlife and vegetation. Moreover, plantation is another important factor for the growth of biodiversity. Because each specie plays a significant role, they need to be protected. For example, a restoration project in Canada, enhancing more than 1500 hectres to save biodiversity.
However, the factors such as , overpopulation, resource deplation and deforestation made it almost impossible to rescue habibtat. Moreover, to fight with overpopulation, humans are cutting trees to build new houses for a living, which is causing loss of biodiversity. For instance, loss of different species of birds, mamals, fish and reptiles has rose to 68percent from 1970s to 2015 according to WWF report. Furthermore, the consumption of animal food is increasing, as a result, the population of animals is decreasing.
To conclude, i belive the government should implements complete ban to some particular areas to protect wildlife and vegetation. While, others think it is impossible to change because some factors such as overpopulation and deforestation
