Most people these days prefer having a child later in life. There are many possible reasons for this, among which are wider reach, willingness to provide a child with better financial support, which requires a long term investment. Whatever the reasons behind this phenomenon, it is clearly beneficial for children.
From the very past, having a child is considered a huge responsibility and most people could not even afford a single one. The reason for that is because of poor economic conditions throughout the globe, by which people were compelled to work terrifically. As follows, people happen to give birth to a child, who in turn would help with a workload as he or she grows. Nowadays, the world has changed considerably, by means that people now have a kid by their choices of morality. A child now is not a workforce, but conversely, considered as the start of a new family. The most significant part is that individuals started to prepare themselves both financially and emotionally before having children. For example, as a family plans to have children, they start to save up money for a child’s education and further life. This way, they are able to provide a better life for their kids.
On the other hand, there are legitimate disadvantages connected with having children later in life. One of the primary concerns is the potential health risks for both the mother and the child. An increased risk of problems is frequently associated with the advanced mother age. Although, the advantages overshadow the drawbacks due to greater chances of success. In conclusion, while there are valid concerns regarding the health risks associated with having children later in life, the benefits, such as financial stability, emotional maturity, and better preparation for parenthood, outweigh these disadvantages.
