Nowadays, when society is more and more developing modernly, there is a controversy about whether the negative impacts of mobile phones outweigh their benefits. In my opinion, using electronic appliances has both advantages and disadvantages for individuals and a country.
On the one hand, proper using electronic devices connected to the Internet will cause numerous consequences for not only adults but also children. Firstly, it invades one’s privacy, making people’s physical and mental health are weaker and weaker. Clearly, when they spend too much time with modern appliances, they will usually give up their meals and sleep, doing harm to their bodies. Secondly, children can be serious affected by modern devices. In fact, they may be vulnerable to questionable content on social network such as violence and pornography, causing negative changes of their personality. Additionally, as kids are lost in a virtual world, they do not want to contact people around them, leading to difficulty integrating into the community for young people.
On the other hand, the utilization of modern tools, when used properly, can bring many. To begin with, it can help the public significantly improve their productivity. Obviously, modern tools support people in their tasks such as typing on the laptop, sending files with the click of a mouse, and even working from home to deal with more duties. Furthermore, they help workers gain new knowledge from the Internet, which is necessary for their careers. For instance, with the abundance of information on the Internet and distance-learning classes, citizens can save more money on course expenses, travel costs, food fees, and more.
In conclusion, with the development of industrialization and modernization, investing in equipment that logs on the Internet is necessary. From my perspective, all people should pay attention to properly using mobile phones and other related devices, as well as investing on them in order to significantly reduce their negative consequences.
