Safety is the first priority in traffic. Each country creates driving laws to control traffic system. However, there are some individuals who break the laws, such as speeding or using mobile devices. I firmly believe these actions are caused by workforce pressure, so some measures need to be taken in consideration.
People with careers are likely to break traffic laws in order to meet the requirements of their work. Some jobs require their employee to be available every time, which reluctantly force them to drive faster to their workplace. This is because maintaining a good performance is taken into account by company. Failing to cooperate will result in salary deduction or getting fired. This can be seen for doctors, who are constantly needed by hospitals to treat the patients. They need to have detailed information about patient wellbeing before doing medical procedure, therefore forcing them to regularly check their phone during commuting. This demonstrates that people break laws to secure their positions.
Giving ticket warning and educating the citizens may be the best measures to address this common problem. People are not well informed on the impact of breaking the laws towards other drivers, so government should hold regular events, hosted by police department to deliver relevant information about traffic rules. Additionaly, fine is often used in some countries to make them think twice. This can be seen in Australia, where reckless driver will be fined and are not allowed to use private vehicle for a short period of time.
In conclusion, breaking traffic laws is a result of work pressure and the government can solve the problem by enforcing the laws.
