To a certain I agree that using video cameras in the public areas bring some restrictions for people, but I also think that its merits are outweighed on its drawbacks.in the coming paragraphs my reasons will be argued.
It is needless to mention that existence video camera in the some street causes to reduce individual’s freedom. Being constantly observed in the public places create a sense of discomfort and anxiety in the persons. So, feeling enjoyment and relaxation that people acquire from outdoors go down. In addition, the data saved in the memory of video cameras can be stolen by hackers , and get used against individuals. For instance, in some social media we are facing some information of discovering the personal life of well-known individuals by hacking video cameras’ data. therefore, some people are not passionate about this measurements.
Despite the negative mentioned above, i believe that there are some benefits for installing video cameras. Firstly, it will cause to increase the safety and security of people. to be more exact, some researches prove that the crime rate has decreased in places that there has been video camera. Additionally, the police officers can both operate swiftly to prevent from occurring a criminal event through suspecting individuals, and assess situation which happen a crime in detail . then, it will be more like for police officers to catch offenders through data acquired from video cameras.
