Nowadays, it is becoming increasingly popular to open similar shops and produce common products. Some people believe that this trend has only merits. Others argue that this development can cause various demerits.
On the one hand, standardizing of markets and productions is as crucial as the development of science, due to the fact that in this case every item and place will be safe enough for a possible consumer of it, since they were scientists which checked compounds of any good and marked them as dangerous or not. In fact, there have been a number of instances when new products affected on people’s well-being. The brightest example of this is cigarettes without filter, which had harmful impact on lungs and on the cardiovascular system. Today, for the reason that modern society standardize its structure, the number of cancers caused by tobacco, had considerably declined.
On the other hand, if all items and places are identical, the quality of any items will drop. Competition of plethora of modern companies ,that is the major pushing power of production’s development, because it pushes them to manufacture more effective, cheaper and beneficial product in order to make more money. For instance, for the reason that the firms Intel and Amd compete with each other, from year to year they produce more and more powerful CPUs.
In conclusion, even that the structure of products will be thoroughly checked, I believe that it is more beneficial for both customers and companies to make different products with higher properties.
